How to Resize an Image
Step 1: Add your images
Drop one or many images into the upload area, or click to browse. PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP and SVG are accepted.
Tip: with the aspect ratio locked you only fill one dimension and the other follows automatically.
Step 2: Set the size and options
Enter a width or height in pixels, scale by a percentage, or pick a preset. Then choose how the image should fit the box and the output format or quality.
Step 3: Resize and download
Press Resize image. Every file is processed on a canvas in your browser, then download the results one by one or as a ZIP.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I resize multiple images at once?
Yes. Drop any number of images into the queue and they are all resized with the same settings, then you can download everything together as a ZIP archive.
Does resizing reduce image quality?
Shrinking uses high-quality canvas resampling, so the result stays sharp. Enlarging cannot invent detail, which is true of any image resize tool.
Is my image sent to a server?
No. Everything happens on a canvas inside your browser, and your pictures never leave your device.
Is the aspect ratio kept?
Yes when Lock aspect ratio is on. Fill a width or a height and the other side matches automatically; turn it off to use your own box with Fit, Fill or Stretch.
What is the difference between Fit, Fill and Stretch?
Fit keeps the whole image inside the box and adds bars if the ratio differs. Fill covers the box and crops the overflow. Stretch distorts the image to fill the exact size.
Can I resize to a social media size?
Yes. Open the Presets mode and pick from ready-made sizes for Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and the web.
Can I change the format at the same time?
Yes. Choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, or keep the original format, right in the same panel.
How do I keep the highest quality?
Avoid enlarging beyond the source size, use PNG for lossless output, and keep the JPEG or WebP quality slider high.
How do batch downloads work?
All processed images are collected into a single ZIP archive, or you can download each one individually.
Does it work on screenshots and scans?
Yes. Resize screenshots, scanned documents and photos with the same width and height controls before exporting.
