How to Enhance an Image

1

Add your image

Drop one or more images into the upload area, or click to browse. PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF and SVG are supported, up to 500 MB.

Tip: the enhancer keeps the exact pixel size, so use it when the dimensions are already right.

2

Pick a model and strength

Pick a preset or fine-tune the AI strength, light, colour and effects. The width and height never change.

3

Enhance and download

Press Enhance image. Every file is processed on your device, then download the results one by one or as a ZIP.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the enhancer actually do?

The image is processed through a super-resolution AI model trained to reconstruct fine detail, then scaled back to its original size. Blur, noise and soft edges are reduced while the pixel dimensions never change.

Does enhancing change the image size?

No. Unlike the upscaler, the enhancer keeps your image at exactly its original width and height — it only improves sharpness, color and fine detail.

Is the AI model downloaded from somewhere?

The ONNX model is downloaded once and cached in your browser, like every other Pixia AI tool. Your image itself is processed locally and never uploaded.

When should I enhance instead of upscale?

Use enhance to clean up blur, noise and compression artifacts while keeping the same size. Use upscale when you actually want a larger image.

Which images improve the most?

Soft, noisy or heavily compressed photos, and scans of old or low-quality pictures, benefit the most. Sharp, large images change very little.

Can I enhance a whole batch at once?

Yes. Drop any number of images into the queue and they are all enhanced with the same settings, then download everything together as a ZIP.

Is it really free with no watermark?

Yes. Pixia tools are free, need no signup, and add no watermark or logo to your result.

Does enhancing invent detail that was not in the photo?

The AI reconstructs plausible sharp detail, so it fixes softness and noise. It cannot bring back information that was never captured.

Can I enhance very large photos?

Yes. Files up to 500 MB are handled in tiles on your device, and very large images are processed safely without crashing the browser.

Will the format stay the same?

Yes. The result keeps the original format and pixel dimensions, so a batch can be enhanced without changing how the files are used.
