Does the studio shape Arabic letters correctly?
Yes. The studio uses your browser's Arabic text engine, so letters join contextually and ligatures and diacritics render as the font intends. Canvas previews are rendered at high resolution, and SVG exports keep the text live so it stays sharp at any size.
Can I design Arabic calligraphy without an Arabic keyboard?
Yes. Start from the phrase library and edit from there. Diacritic and tatweel buttons help you fine-tune pronunciation marks, and you can paste Arabic text from any source.
Is the calligraphy studio free and watermark-free?
The studio is free to use with no signup and no watermarks. The typefaces are open-source Google Fonts; check each font's licence before commercial use of the lettering itself.
Can I export SVG and PDF for printing?
Yes. PNG and JPEG are raster exports, SVG keeps live text and vector frames, and PDF produces a print-ready page. A4, A3 and 5×7 artboards are generated at 300 DPI; print at 100% scale for exact dimensions.
Will the SVG keep my Arabic font?
The SVG exporter embeds the font file so the lettering renders the same way on other devices and in vector editors. If a font cannot be embedded, the SVG includes a Google Fonts fallback link.
Are my words and artwork private?
Yes. Text shaping, rendering, texture generation and export all happen locally in your browser. No artwork is uploaded, and only a local draft is kept on your device for convenience.
Can I use the artwork for a logo or a gift?
You can export high-resolution PNGs and vector SVGs for personal or commercial projects, subject to the font licences. For a unique logo, refine the lettering and ornaments, then edit the SVG in your design tool.
Can I make a custom canvas size?
Yes. Choose Custom in the artboard panel and enter any width and height up to 8000 px. The preview scales to fit while exports keep the full resolution.
